Inspired by the mountains. From hand to paw.

Humans leave millions of plastic bags of dog waste in the forest every year because they don’t like carrying it. Luckily, dogs don't mind carrying the bags of poo at all, and they can help us solve this major environmental problem. Dogs don’t have an aversion to dog feces like people do. In contrast, dogs are actually interested in the smell of dog feces, and many dogs actually eat poop- yuck!

The Dog Pocket ™ is a game changer for people who love to hike and mountain bike. The pockets also strap onto backpacks, leashes and belts of course.

*Roll of plastic bags not included- please choose compostable bags*

Where does the product come from?

Little Pine pet products are hand-crafted in small batches in a socially responsible way in Whistler, BC.

What is it made of?

We upcycle materials from our local mountain community - like climbing rope and ski instructor uniforms- giving new life to products that would otherwise end up in the landfill.

Where does it go at the end of its life?

The product lifecycle is very important to us. To reduce waste and consumption, we offer repairs and recycling of our products, materials and hardware whenever possible.

Social Fairness

Our products are handcrafted and ethically made in Canada. As part of our commitment to having a positive social impact, we create fair and supportive partnerships with artisans. Our supplier partnerships are designed to benefit socially disadvantaged groups, such as those who face language barriers, lack of transportation, lack of childcare, disability, or other factors. We currently have supplier partnerships with immigrants, individuals facing disability, Syrian refugees, incarcerated indigenous women (through an organization called Women Helping Women), and other talented artisans.
