Where does the product come from?
What is it made of?
We like to think of our materials as Baby-Grade. That means safe, organic, natural materials that provide your baby with a safe and healthy sleeping environment. All our three components are made of simple, recyclable materials:
The bassinet + travelbox are made of SFI certified, sustainably sourced, premium paperboard. The zippered cover is made of certified organic cotton that is hypoallergenic, water repellent, and machine washable. The core of the sleeping pad is made of Bundle Fiber™ a specially woven densified polyester for maximum comfort and breathability.
Where does it go at the end of its life?
The bassinet has been engineered to be durable and to outlast the life of your baby’s use. If well cared, we feel confident that you can save it for your next child or share it with a neighbor, family, or friend. The bassinet and travelbox are completely recyclable. You can actually put it into your recycling bin together with the mattress core after removing it from the cover. In most cases, the cotton cover can also be recycled, please check with your local waste management to determine the correct way to recycle fabric.
No compromises. We founded Juno on this simple and powerful idea – that the products we offer should meet our exacting standards for design, function, and sustainability, without exception.
The Juno Bassinet was born from the frustration that Herman felt as he searched for a sleeping solution for his newborn son. Nothing on the market met his needs. So we decided to fill that void with a bassinet that’s natural for babies, simple for parents, and awesome for the planet.
The Bassinet is just the beginning: we are committed to innovation and expanding the market of well-designed products for babies and parents that can help cultivate our world forward.
