“Beautiful products, absolute comfort” —Sam

The noho move™ chairs bring a new level of comfort to your dining table through dynamic and earth-friendly design. Perfect for a family meal, relaxing with friends, or working from home.

The chair’s patented, award-winning, auxetic mesh seat provides 4-way flex and form-fitting support that cradles your body. It’s dynamic ‘forward-tilt’ and ‘recline-flex’ combine to intuitively respond to every activity and posture, eliminating pressure points, and improving circulation.

Each chair is made almost entirely from waste plastic, like ECONYL® regenerated nylon, sourced from reclaimed ghost fishing nets and end-of-use carpets. Recycled post-industrial polypropylene is also used.

What is it made of?

noho’s commitment to sustainability has led to groundbreaking partnerships with eco-innovators like Aquafil, whose ECONYL® regeneration process turns recovered fishing nets and end-of-use carpets into regenerated nylon that are used to create remarkable, treasured furniture.

Recycled post-industrial polypropylene is also used.

Where does it go at the end of its life?

noho believe in creating furniture that lasts the test of time, that people will want to treasure and keep. This helps reduce waste and encourages more sustainable living.

Recycling—The high performance plastic materials in the noho move chair are sourced from a mix of post-consumer and post-industrial waste streams. The ECONYL® nylon, which the chair structure is formed, is regenerated from recovered fishing nets, end-of-use carpets and fabric scraps. Glass fibre is added for strength and durability. These materials are able to be recycled further and noho is committed to facilitating the recycling of its products at the end of their useful life.

The ability to remove the glass fibre added to ECONYL nylon will enable infinite, higher-value recycling of this material. Aquafil, the supplier of ECONYL regenerated nylon, is engaged in developing a process to achieve this.

Refurbished Program—If a customer decides to return their chairs during the 100-day trial period, noho thoroughly go over each of the returned chairs, give them a good clean, and re-pack them ready for life in a new home in “like new” condition, but sold at a reduced rate to make its products more accessible to customers where affordability is an issue.

Noho are also using the Refurbished Program to supply affordable chairs to support not-for-profit foundations working on strong social and environmental causes.

Comfort without compromise.

noho believes furniture should look and feel good while doing good for our planet, too. It’s why they don’t rely on conventional thinking or materials, but instead create earth-friendly designs that help clean up our oceans, protect our environment and enrich our homes, our well-being and our everyday lives.

noho’s values are reflected in every detail of their products, starting with the innovative designs created by sister company, Formway, which combine new insights in human physiology with deep expertise in ergonomic and sustainable design. noho manufactures all their furniture in New Zealand to ensure sustainability throughout the supply chain while powering production with 82 percent renewable energy.
